A Japanese official says a woman in his town near Tokyo who became world’s oldest living female and the second oldest living person just last month has died at 115. Koto Okubo died on Saturday 12 January, 2013 at a nursing home in Kawasaki City, according to the official.
She was born on 24 December 1897 and her cause of death has been identified as Pneumonia, which is an inflammatory condition of the lung.
