Nevermind was the second studio album by the American rock band Nirvana. It was released on September 24, 1991. Over 2.60 crore copies were sold worldwide. The infant (named Spencer Elden) underwater cover of the album got famous around the world. The classic photograph was taken by photographer Kirk Weddle in a public swimming pool (closed) of Los Angeles.

Here are some pictures which were taken after the cover shot. “After photographing the cover for the album, we took photos of the band stupidly at 10 am while on tour,” says Kirk Weddle.

Kirk also clicked Kurt Cobain laying on the floor and covered with a towel to take a nap.
