The most awaited movie of Town-B is all set to hit the floor at the mid of November 2013, Starring Kangana Ranawat as main lead the movie has a back drop of action, satire and masti which will attract the audience to the movie hall. Directed by Sai Kabir and produced by Tigmanshu Dhulia, the film is set in hinterland India with the actress playing an out-and-out under-the-sun criminal. Apparently the role was earlier offered to Tabu but she was reluctant to play the role. In the end, Kangs made the most of the offer and is ready to go through the grind. Apart from Kangana Movie have many senior artists of Bollywood who will be a part of this big project. The movie will be a second directorial venture of Sai Kabir as his first movie Chemistry Starring Shreyas Talpade, Soha Ali Khan and Tanisha will be releasing soon. The producer of Revolver Rani Tighmanshu Dhuliya who is known for his realistic cinema and who made some of the best Bollywood movies like Haasil, Charaas and the latest one Pan Singh Tomar has high hope from Revolver Rani. In an exclusive interview with GP Sai Kabir the director of the movie said that we chose the title Revolver Rani as it’s not only a catchy title but it also reflect the essence of the movie which is very important, we don’t want to name the project by keeping the core essence a side. Talking about producer Thigmanshu Dhulia ‘it’s been a privilege to work with such a person who not only has a visionary power but also has a creative mind, when I wrote the script and narrated to Tighmanshu he straight away said that I am going to produce the movie, this shows that person appreciate hard work and dedication of his fellow mate’. Major part of the movie will be shot in Gwalior, Datia and Chambal region as these locations are idol one for the subject. Sai Kabir completed his schooling from Gwalior and spend major part of his childhood in the city, best known for his hard- hitting dialogues in Rahul Dholakia’s Sanjay Dutt- starrer Lamhaa , Kabir also penned the screenplay for Kismat Konnection , starring Shahid Kapoor and Vidya Balan. Kabir said that now taste of viewers have changed and Indian public now like to watch more subject oriented movies, which is very good and credit should go to directors like Tighmanshu Dhulia, Anurag Kashyap, Anurag Basu and many more in the list as these are few people who really uplifted the standard. Earlier also there were legendry directors like Guru Dutt, Raj Kapoor, Hrishikesh Mukherjee etc. who are known for their subject oriented movies, it was only a patch of 80’s and 90’s where some loud violent movies with very thin story line came into the picture and made industry standard go down. But things are now coming on to the track and this very positive change as now more film makers are coming up with their unique story line and making the name of Bollywood shine high.
This movie will be a great test of Kangana’s patience as she has to go a scheduled make up of 12 hours, this will be done to make sure Kangana doesn’t look glamorous as this is the demand of the character which she will be playing and on top of that she will be shooting 5 hours on the set which will make a time stretch of 17 hours of shooting. Kabir recently visited the Gwalior City in order to finalise location for the project he went to Beja Taal, Baarah Dari, Jai Vilas Palace and many more heritage locations of the city, he says that we are just looking for the best suited site for the movie Revolver Rani, we captured all these locations in our camera and me and my team will have a discussion before everything get finalised. Talking about the young generation coming into the industry he said that it’s good to see that young blood of the country is getting inclined towards the technical part of film making, earlier it was only acting which was most popular among the masses but as the time passed by people have realised the importance of technical aspect of film making as its as important as acting, the only message that I would like to convey to youngsters that if anyone wants to join this industry he got to have passion, dedication and focus as these are the core elements, as lot of people come in to be a part of glamour world, glamour will only come if one is prefect in his work otherwise the competition is so hard that one will not survive if he is not up to the mark.
