Gwalior, 2 March 2015: If you have the passion to succeed, then no one can stop you. There should be just strong determination. Some people assume language to be responsible for success, but its not like that. You just do your work with honesty, positively you will achieve greater heights.
These were words of eighth chancellor of the University of Houston System and the thirteenth president of the University of Houston, Dr. Renu Khator. She has also served as Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas board of directors. She shared her experience at foundation ceremony of GCFOI at Taj Usha Kiran Palace on Monday. She was honoured by Cabinet minister for Commerce, Industries and Employment Yashodhara Raje Scindia.
Mayor Vivek Shejwalkar swore the new team of Gwalior Chambal Federation of Industries. At the occasion, Anand Mohan Chhaparwal as President, Suresh Kalra, Aditya Bapuna, Suresh Bansal, Sudarshan Jhawar as Vice-President, Sanjay Kapoor as Secretary and Sandeep Jain, Jagdish Mittal, K.R. Ashthana, Khalid Rehman, Keshav Vaishya as General Secretary took the oath. Vice-Chancellor of Jiwaji University Prof. Sangeeta Shukla, Chancellor of ITM University Ramashankar Singh, Son of Yashodhara Raje; Akshay Bhansali and a large number of distinguished businessman were present at the ceremony.
These were the resolutions-
- City will be developed as industry hub. In which mega food park, engineering park, Chinese and European park will be included.
- To grow connectivity to the city through airlines and demand to Central Government to extend Yamuna Expressway till Gwalior.
- Initiative of export promotion centre in Gwalior
- Use of Trade Fair Facilitation centre for the training of skill, entrepreneurship development and management.
