Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday enjoyed a ride in the world’s thirteenth largest metro system, the Delhi Metro. He travelled in the special Dehi Airport Metro. He thanked Metro Man Elattuvalapil Sreedharan, who initiated the development of Delhi Metro and also served as Managing Director of Delhi Metro from 1995 to 2012.
To attend an event PM travelled from Dhaula Kuan to Dwarka. This was the first time Prime Minister has used metro as a mode of transport. PM Modi was accompanied by National Security Adviser Ajit Doval and officials of prime minister office. And yes, PM Modi did bought a ticket.
