We were in the streets of Karol Bagh, New Delhi, when a sports bike shining in orange paint made its way between the crowded streets. It was none other then the celebrated sports bike from Honda, the CBR600RR in MotoGP’s Repsol livery. Fortunately, it stopped just near to for some work. We gladly went near to that bike and met the friendly owner. He cheerily allowed us to take pictures of his CBR600RR and enlightened us about his commanding machine. He told us he has showroom of super-bikes and CBR600RR is the most precious for him.
The 2013 CBR600RR makes room for new 12-spoke wheels, revised ECU settings, and a fine-tuned ram-air system to increase torque. It also gets a new Showa “Big Piston Fork” and retuned rear shock in a new bodywork. Three color schemes are available, including one in the MotoGP’s Repsol livery which we got hold of. The other two are red and tricolor. Another significant change is the newly designed front end, which makes it stand out from the earlier models.
