Gwalior, 1 July 2014: Today Mayor Sameeksha Gupta inspected various crossings of the town including the statue site of Syama Prasad Mookerjee. She inspected numerous sites at crossings namely Akashvani crossing, Chancellor residence and gave proper instructions to the relevant officers. Thereafter, Mayor Sameeksha Gupta arrived at the construction site of the statues and received information regarding the building and gave necessary instructions to sculptor Prabhat Rai. After that she arrived at Chhatri mandi located ladies park where statue of Indira Gandhi, former Prime Minister of India will be installed. She was accompanied by Commissioner Vinod Sharma, BJP State Vice President Ved Prakash Sharma, District president Abhay Chaudhary, Pradeep Joshi, GDA former vice president Rakesh Jadon, Paras Jain and others.
