Abu Dhabi, 24 August 2014: You see its amazing to know when someone talks about your dream project with a no-nonsense realistic approach. By the same token if its an politician you would probably get more surprised. This is what happened with us when Madhya Pradesh Commerce, Industries and Employment minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia requested Jesse Vargas, General Manager of Ferrari World in support to make something so fantastic like Ferrari World of Abu Dhabi in Madhya Pradesh. She was accompanied by Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
In an one-to-one meeting with Jesse she said inquired how Government of Madhya Pradesh can introduce a world class leisure destination in Madhya Pradesh such as the Ferrari World of Abu Dhabi. The meeting was organized with CEO of Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry. She later had a guided tour of the Masdar City- an example of sustainability and urban planning best practices with Mohammed Al Ramahi, Chief Operating Officer of Masdar. She also met over 200 prominent Indian businessmen of the Indian Business and Professional Council, the largest network of Indian investors in Dubai.
For your knowledge, Ferrari World is a Ferrari themed amusement park on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi. The central park is established under a 2,152,782 sq ft roof making it the largest indoor amusement park in the world. Ferrari World officially opened on 4 November 2010. The theme park is home to Formula Rossa, the world’s fastest roller coaster with a top speed of 240 kmph.
This what we expect from our new age politicians to bring some off-beat projects to the state. The new generation want such projects to indulge on, not anything like village schemes by CM. On the behalf of many enthusiastic Madhya Pradesh residents we applaud for Yashodhara Raje Scindia’s big grand vision for the state.
Hope she speedily visit Maranello, Italy to talk to Ferrari Chairman regarding another Ferrari amusement park in Madhya Pradesh. There are undoubtedly lots of eager investors in Madhya Pradesh for such an unique project. Peace!
