Gwalior, 16 March 2015: Written by the Assistant Professor of Law at Amity University Gwalior Krati Rajoria and published by the Allahabad Law Agency with the title “Company Law” was launched by Assistant Solicitor General Vivek Khedkar.
Daughter of a police officer Munish Rajoria, Krati completed her graduation in law in 2010 and appeared in CLAT and secured All India Rank 1st in women category (2nd overall). She completed her Masters in Business Law from National Law School of India University, Bangalore in 2013. She is presently pursuing her Ph.D.
During the book launch she said, “There have been considerable changes in the Company Law and not many books are available on the subject. This book focuses on providing clear and comprehensive explanation of Indian Company Law with relevant and latest case laws and covers all the new concepts introduced through the 2013 Act such as One Person Company, residential and independent directors, revival and rehabilitation of sick companies, corporate social responsibility, etc. It also analyses the reasons for incorporating these changes. For the knowledge, she had also written a handbook on maritime law which was greatly appreciated by the students. During the book launch Amity University Vice-Chancellor V.K. Sharma, Dean R.S. Tomar, Dean Research S.P. Bajpai, law professors and students were also present.
