“In these 75 years I never came in front of camera that’s why I’ve managed to reach this level. At the age of 26 I thought what’s the life of a human being, running here and there from morning to evening with nothing in hand and still shouting everything is mine. I questioned everyone about this derangement and one day I got hold of a book by Swami Vivekananda and I understood the meaning of life that human being has got the life to serve and that’s his religion. After that I consecrated my life towards serving the nation. Today at the age of 75 I have never visited my home from past 40 years. Now it’s my belief that I will die while working for nation. I live in a temple with nothing to hide and I took wickets of 6 cabinet ministers in Maharashtra and over 400 corrupt officers were sent home”, said Anna Hazare during his speech at Dr. Bhagwat Sahay Medical Auditorium. He signed off after saying I have arrived to organize 6 crore people around this nation and I won’t not die before bringing the Jan Lokpal. Anna also promised to select four thousand soldiers for this movement from Gwalior to whom he will meet personally and later he will select what role they will play. General VK Singh took the lighter side and defined Indian politics as finding a sweet chilli from the bunch of chillies which next of impossible. He further said that citizen is not getting their right and we need to unite to fight against this corruption to bring a proper system which will be beneficial to a common man.
Madhya Pradesh in-charge of Jantantra Yatra Dr. Sunilam said 13 ministers from MP are found corrupt from the 163 members of Parliament. He also commented on the situation of bad roads. Event was operated by Mahesh Mudgal and during the closure of the programme national anthem was vocalized under the roof of the auditorium which was a little discourtesy. On the next day Anna Hazare addressed a gathering at Rani Lakshmibai Mausoleum where he said that more than the Britishers our own people have robbed us and to bring democracy back to the country I am ready to sacrifice my life.
