I think Bharatiya Janata Party or Congress! Well confused me!

I live in Madhya Pradesh state where I see all these parties running here and there this Legislative Assembly elections for their campaigns. As we all know the muscluar fight is between Atal Bihari Vajpayee led Bharatiya Janata Party with a slogan- The Party with a Difference and Sonia Gandhi led Indian National Congress, however their slogan is unknown.

For Madhya Pradesh, BJP has raised Shivraj Singh Chouhan aged 54 and Congress elevated Jyotiraditya Madhavrao Scindia who is aged 42. While both parties has same slogan Vote Us we will bring change. Nothing much special to care about, regular slogans regular promises which may or may not be broken. Therefore the fights comes between the candidates over their attitude, their achievements and their feelings for the public. As I am a general voter who elects a candidate according to his vision and achievements. I don’t care about what he is going to do in future, as I hardly trust any politician.

So when I think of our present Chief Minister, Shivraj born in Sehore, MP (5 March 1959), one thing which comes to my mind is that he is a fairly good guy with no such corruption labels over his head, he didn’t brought any major difference to MP but still he made life easier and happier from the past. General public who is knowledgeable enough is aware about Shivraj’s development and they are voting him for no cost. Public relate themselves with Shivraj very easily, thanks to his simple looks and dressing sense. Shivraj did his MA in Philosopy from Bhopal Univeristy and became a part of Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) on 1972. In 1977 he got a first post as Organising Secretary in Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarathi Parishad (ABVP) at Bhopal and like that his journey began. Kabaddi and volleyball are favourite sports of Chouhan and spiritual literatube and debates are also into his interest list. He also has an advantage of BJP who image has always been protected by well opinionated leaders such as Atal Bihari Vajpayee or Narendra Damodardas Modi if I count today. People find this party homely and corruption free due to the effect of its leaders.

When I visualize of Union Minister, Jyotiraditya Madhavrao Scindia who was born in Mumbai (1 January 1971), he make up an image of royal person with rich background and luxury. Which can be a attracting point for youth to relate but can be a repulsive thing for elder community. Jyotiraditya represents youth, a man who if given a chance can overhaul Madhya Pradesh with some brilliant ideas. You can imagine the mental level of a person who did his BA in economics from Harvard University in 1993 and MBA from Stanford University in 2001, his vision and his motto would be unsimilar to any other politician out there. His dive in politics started in 2002 when he was elected to 13th Lok Sabha. He finds his interest in wildlife conservation, reading and swimming and is also a member of various Golf clubs such Delhi Golf Club, DLF Golf Club and Classic Golf Course. Proper gentlemen right! He may not have an advantage of being famous all over MP unlike Shivraj but he do have that creative vision to show all those residents of Madhya Pradesh which will change the life like never before. But I think there will be really lesser number of people who trust upon the future points made by a politician. As Scindia is backed up by Congress whose national image has been really uncertain. For a common man Congress failed to run the nation so they may fear the same for Madhya Pradesh. Personal image of Scindia has always been clean and inspiring, people have always appreciated his work even the opposite party can’t resist. People somehow likes to flow in this graceful attitude.

Who ever is going to win it would hardly matter to me at the end of the day. If BJP will bring the corruption I cannot to anything or if Congress brings the corruption in MP I can’t do anything either. But still I will surely choose someone between these parties. You vote and decide tomorrow!
