Gwalior, 7 January 2015: Officials observed the preparation of oath ceremony of newly elected mayor and corporators. Newly elected mayor Vivek Narayan Shejwalkar, Collector P. Narahari, Senior Superintendent of Police Santosh Singh and Municipal Commissioner Ajay Gupta, ADM Vidisha Mukherjee gave the necessary guidelines for the preparation. Collector P. Narahari instructed the officials to complete the arrangements in time so that ceremony can be held with dignity.
The oath ceremony will be held in a ground in front of Maharani Laxmibai Samadhi on 10 January 2015 at 10:30 am. Newly elected mayor Vivek Narayan Shejwalkar stated that for dignity of swearing-in ceremony chief minister of state Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Minister for Steel and Mines Narendra Singh Tomar, Cabinet Minister of Women and Child Development Maya Singh, Cabinet minister for Commerce, Industries and Employment Yashodhara Raje Scindia, Health minister of Madhya Pradesh Narottam Mishra, Minister In-charge Jayant Kumar Malaiya and other distinguished guests are invited.
