Posted at Gwalior Morar Police Station as T.I. (Thana In-charge) Ratnesh Singh Tomar will recieve President’s Police medal for Gallantry on the occasion of Republic Day 2014. He has been awarded for his brave effort during an encounter with Rs. 1 lakh prize dacoit Pappu Gujarr and his gang in Shivpuri. Along with the encounter of Pappu his three other companions were killed by the police.
Other police officers awarded from Madhya Pradesh where Rakesh Pratap Singh (Superintendent of Police) and Vasudev Rawat (Head Constable).
