Gwalior celebrates 68th Independence Day (5)

Gwalior, 15 August 2014: Gwalior celebrated 68th Independence Day at SAF Ground. Minister of Women and Child Development Maya Singh hoisted the flag along with Collector P. Narahari and SP Santosh Kumar Singh.


Celebration at Maharaj Bada-

Mayor and Chairman hoisted the flag at Maharaj bada and Council office respectively. Mayor Sameeksha Gupta said Municipal officers and workers plays a vital role in city development. We all should take resolution on Independence Day for development of our city we will leave no stone unturned. She also remembered martyrs with a moist eye and expressed martyr’s families as country’s heritage. On the occassion Commissioner Ajay Gupta, Additional Commissioner Dr. M.L. Daultani including officers and employees were present. Whereas Chairman Brijendra Singh Jadon hoisted the flag at Mayor office and granted his wishes to all residents.

Celebration at BSF, Tekanpur-

A grand parade was led by Deputy Commandant Dineshprasad at Rani Laxmibai Parade Ground situated at Border Security Force Academy. On this occasion Director of Academy Mahesh Kumar Singla hoisted the flag and greeted everyone.
