After Ferrari FF, The Chevrolet Camaro SS has now joined the Dubai Police fleet of vehicles – the first Camaro to be used by a police force in the Middle East.
Powered by a 6.2L V8 engine, the Camaro SS boasts a power output of 426 horsepower and a maximum torque of 567 Nm. With a top speed of 250 km/h and acceleration of 0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds, the Camaro is the perfect addition to Dubai Police force.
Buti Saeed Al Ghandi, managing director of Al Ghandi Auto and John Stadwick, president and managing director of GM Middle East, handed the keys of the Camaro SS to Dubai Deputy Police Chief Major General Khamis Mattar Al Mazeina in a ceremony at police headquarters. In return Stadwick received a special engraved plaque from Dubai Police.
“The Camaro is highly regarded around the world. It is the ideal car for Dubai Police as we look to upgrade our vehicles to meet the Emirate’s world renowned standards in safety and security,” said Dubai Deputy Police Chief Major General Khamis Mattar Al Mazeina.
