Window of opportunity with single window clearance without grills will now do action in Telangana. As Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao unveils the Telangana Industrial Policy 2015 at HICC, Hyderabad. The Government of Telangana thus welcomes investment in making it a golden state.

The highlights of industrial policy are right to timely clearances, self-certification, clearances in 2 weeks for mega projects, single window clearance without grills, 0% graft, 100% transparency, minimum inspection and maximum facilitation, one point designated Nodal Office and a single common online application form.

Green category: Industries- Bakery, Packaging, Electronics, Printing Press, Hosiery, Solar Power Plants & other such industries with less pollution potential | Approval period- Permission within a fortnight
Orange category: Industries- Pharmaceuticals, Pesticide Formulations, Food & Beverage Processing, Medium Engineering, Granite Polishing & other such industries with medium potential | Approval period- Permission with a month
Red category: (i) Industries not requiring prior environmental clearance from the Central Government- Automobile Manufacturing, Heavy Engineering, Battery Manufacturing, Glass, Dairy, Parboiled Rice Mills & other such industries with high pollution potential | Approval period- Permission within a month | (ii) Industries requiring prior environmental clearance from the Central Government- Thermal Power Plants, Cement, Iron & Steel, Infrastructure projects etc. | Approval period- State Government will pursue on behalf of the investor with the Central Government for speedy clearances
