Reaffirming itself as the benchmark in the automotive industry, BMW has been ranked number 1 in world’s most reputable companies list called Global RepTrak 100 by Reputation Institute. BMW beat over 7,000 companies from more than 50 countries. Reputation Institute’s Global RepTrak 100 uncovers the world’s most reputable companies on innovation, governance, citizenship and more.
On the achievement Vice President of Head of BMW Group Corporate Communications, Bill McAndrews said, “The BMW Group as a whole is an innovation driver. That’s the basis for everything we do. What’s also essential is to communicate to various stakeholders what our company is doing as a good corporate citizen. Also, our job as communicators is to create platforms or channels which promote contact not only with our products, but also with experts within the company. In short, business is people. In the list, Google was ranked second, Daimler ranked third and Rolex was ranked fourth.
