Most people are unaware that Bentley and Rolls-Royce were once very closely related. Since their inception in the early 1900’s Bentley focused more on the driver experience and has won six 24 Hours of Le Mans races while Rolls-Royce focused primarily on cars who’s owners were found in the backseat sipping on champagne. At Forgiato, wheels are made for the discerning driver who very well may drink champagne, but after a victorious drive on these wheels from the track, office, poker game, etc. And there will be a good feeling that the driver of this knockout wide body Bentley Continental sitting pretty on custom matched deep dish Andata’s feels the same.
As if the Continental GT doesn’t have enough presence from the factory, the owner of this lipstick red W12 powered grand tourer opted to extend the booty a few inches – likely to fit the massively wide Andata wheels from the Forgiato original line. The Continental GT is a big car even pre wide body, and extending it a few inches on both sides offers up and even better opportunity to fit a hefty lip seen here.
To balance out all that red, the beautifully sculpted suit a la the Wide Body King, is complimented by several doses of chrome. The upper and lower grilles window accents and side panels are all adorned by high quality shine, which compliments the mirror like wheel barrels provided by the master craftsmen at Forgiato.
Bentley has always been about mixing ultra luxury with ultra speed and perhaps that’s one of the reasons why these wheels so seamlessly integrate with these cars. Every step of the Forgiato process combines the knowledge and technology of years and years of research and development mixed with out of the box design all combined in a wheel that is light, strong, and looks the part.
