Indian Publishing Industry where the cost of book cut considerably to bring it in 100 Rupees bracket and publishing debutant authors who don’t want a lot, so to have better profit margins. In this scenario, when a new publishing house, Author’s Empire Publications decides to not give books which are of top quality of by recognized authors.

Second book by the publication house was released this week.  Kashi is a story told by an American Expatriate, John. In what circumstances he meets an Indian girl, Meetha Sharma and how their lives take a different turn is narrated by Terin Miller in his own style. The book was self published by him with a title” From Where The Rivers Come” and it received various recognitions and accolades.

This award winning novel is now being published in India by the Authors Empire Publications after their first smashing book, Chakra by Ritu Lalit. In the worlds of Ritu Lalit, “A spellbound tale by an American author about an Indian woman who redefines freedom in the conservative Indian Society of 1980s.” There have been many such glowing quotes by well-known authors and the book deserves each one of them.

The book has also received honorary mention recognition in Writer’s Digest 2010 International Self-Published Book Awards, the 2010 Paris Book Festival and Beach Book Festival in the fiction category, the London Book Festival and New England Book Festival.

Terin Miller has captured the essence of India in this award winning novel. The influence of the years he has spent in India is evident in his writing. He has travelled through many countries in Europe and Asia apart from India. His has not only written novels but his writing have appeared in guide books, international magazines including Time and Geografica Revista, and newspapers including The Wall Street Journal, The Dallas Morning News, and The Los Angeles Times.
