Pune, 2 March 2015: Luxurious Swiss watchmaker Omega officially opened its first boutique in Pune, prevailing on to the total number of the brand’s exclusive boutiques in the country to nine. Positioned at MG Road in Pune, it is positioned at a cream address esteemed by distinct commercial establishments and luxuriant shopping destinations.
To blow off steam at the launch, brand ambassador Abhishek Bachchan accompanied Omega management for the ribbon cutting. The trendy actor invited guests to delight in the brand’s design perfection and its engagement with the art and craft of Swiss watchmaking. Cawas and Hormuz Pundole, Directors CT Pundole, P.H. Narayanan, Brand Manager-Omega, Partha Dutta-Gupta, Country head, swatch Group India were present on the occasion.
Discussing with the media, Bachchan said, “I am happy that Omega has its own house in Pune now. Watch lovers will now get to experience real watchmaking and the finest timepieces created in the world.”
Omega President Stephen Urquhart sent his own acknowledgement and said, “We are excited about the opening of our new boutique in Pune. Our staff is looking forward to sharing their passion for our products with visitors.”
The boutique has been projected with Omega’s global concept, which is exhilarated by the natural ingredients of air, water and sunlight. The cream and champagne interior, with zebra wood furniture and chiselled glass surfaces draw attention to the showroom.
At the boutique, visitors will have the chance to shop and browse the collection of Omega products from its four watch families – Constellation, Seamaster, Speedmaster and De Ville – together with the brand’s Fine Leather and Fine Jewellery collections.
