4th edition of Royal Enfield Tour of Nepal will start from April 26 (2)

New Delhi, 27 March 2015: Royal Enfield’s marquee international ride – The Tour of Nepal returns with its fourth edition this year scheduled to be flagged off from April 26th, 2015.The ride to the mystical land of Buddha and the legendary Gorkha warriors will see 30 riders journeying 2,200 kilometers over 14 days, most of it through the uncharted terrains of the Himalayan range. Registrations for the Tour of Nepal have already begun on the Royal Enfield website.

Flagging from Lucknow, the Tour of Nepal is an enriching motorcycling adventure that will take the riders through the most scenic mountains forming the famous Annapurna ranges. The love of ‘pure motorcycling’ brings riders together from all over India and bond over their common passion of riding a Royal Enfield through the winding mountain roads of Nepal.

The Tour of Nepal promises to excite and offers a new motorcycling frontier to conquerfor the riders. The ride offers newer motorcycling adventures and a variety of riding terrains to the participants which makes The Tour of Nepal an experience of a lifetime.

The riders will ride through the panoramic view of the Himalayas from Lucknow through Bhairhawa, Pokhra, Kalopani, Muktinath, Tatopani and, Kathmandu, Kodari, Nagarkot, Chitwana and finally back to Lucknow covering a distance of 2,200 kilometres on their Royal Enfield motorcycles. The riders will be travelling across winding twisty roads leading to Pokhra; explore Jomsom, which until recently was just a Trekking trail; experience extreme off road trail leading to Muktinath; enjoying the picturesque ride along the Tibetan plateau to Kodari; will relax at Chitwan National park and then ride down to Lumbini the birthplace of Buddha.

The route has been chalked out specifically, to challenge the riders with the winding mountain roads; majestic mountain ranges; slushy off-road trails; water crossings & slush, gravel tracks, cross narrow suspension bridges as well as straight stretches through some of the most pristine forest. This ride promises to test the Royal Enfield rider’s grit and offers an opportunity to leave their marks on the most challenging and adventurous terrains in the world.
