2013 Middle-Class performance
New Delhi – It was the most watched contest with then chief minister Sheila Dikshit up against Arvind Kejriwal. The turnout was 65.95%, up from 56.20% in 2008
Greater Kailash – It is a mix of upscale colonies and urban villages. The poll percentage increased from 54.43% in 2008 to 65.97%
Malviya Nagar – It comprises colonies like Green Park, Hauz Khas, Safdarjung Development Area and Malviya Nagar. The turnout increased from 55.93% in 2008 to 65.36%
Kalkaji – Turnout increased from 51.37% to 65.52%
Middle-class constituencies in other parts of the city like Shakur Basti, Model Town and Shalimar Bagh, Patparganj, Laxmi Nagar, Vishwas Nagar and Krishna Nagar also saw high turnouts
