Sriperumbudur, 18 February 2015: Hyundai India has launched the 2015 Verna, which they call 4S Fluidic Verna. What makes different in the terms of exterior of this car are the distinct fog lamps blended into the body, a wing shape radiator grille in chrome, curvy headlamps and a bonnet with character lines.

wrap-around rear lamps makes the sedan look more attractive and refreshed.

Under the hood you have varieties of engines available-
1.6 CRDi (diesel engine with VGT) – The diesel alternative, a 1.6 U2 CRDi diesel engine with VGT(MT), generates segment best power 128 ps at 4,000 rpm and 26.5 kg·m torque at 1,900 ~ 2,750 rpm.
1.6 MPi (petrol engine with VTVT) – Lightweight to enhance fuel economy, a 1.6 MPi petrol engine with VTVT (MT) generates segment best power 123 ps at 6,300 rpm and 15.8 kg·m torque at 4,200 rpm.
1.4 U2 CRDi (diesel engine) – Built with latest technology to enhance fuel economy, a 1.4 U2 CRDi diesel engine generates power of 90 ps at 4,000rpm and 22.4 kg·m torque at 1,750 ~ 2,750 rpm.
1.4 MPi (petrol engine with VTVT) – Lightweight to enhance fuel economy, a 1.4 MPi petrol engine with VTVT generates power of 107 ps at 6,300 rpm and 13.8 kg·m torque at 5,000 rpm.
New Verna also gives you a choice in transmission, 4-speed H-Matic auto transmission and 5 speed petrol and 6 speed diesel manual gearboxes.
To keep you and your passengers safe, 4S Fluidic Verna have enhanced safety systems like Anti-lock brake system (ABS) and 6-airbag system which will provide all-round protection.
