New Delhi, 16 January 2015: In the presence of BJP national president Amit Shah Former IPS officer Kiran Bedi has become a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Finance minister Arun Jaitley, Central minister Harshvardhan, Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyay, Delhi BJP incharge Prabhat Jha and Rajya Sabha MP Vijay Goyal were present during the programme held at BJP central office, 11 Ashok road. The programme was conducted by BJP National Secretary Shrikant Sharma.

BJP national president Amit Shah gave the membership to Kiran bedi and welcomed her to the party. On this occasion he said that today Kiran ji has taken the membership of BJP for which he thanks him with all his heart and believe that Kiran ji’s joing of the Bharatiya Janata party shall strengthen the Delhi unit. For meeting the expectations of the people of Delhi she will be a good companion. In the battle for elections in the upcoming days and for the formation of the new government in Delhi, so that we meet the expectations of the people of Delhi, Kiran ji’s value addition will be very useful for the Bharatiya Janata party. Due ot the joining of Kiran ji the Delhi unit of the Bharatiya Janata party is experiencing delight. On this occasion finance minister Arun Jaitley said that Kiran bedi has served country via the medium of administrative service for a long time. She has a decorated place in both the the society and the country. She is endowed with an active trustworthy character. Today she is taking the membership of Bharatiya Janata party, it is for sure that her long experience will benefit the party. I welcome her to the party.

After takin the membership of BJP former IPS officer Kiran bedi said that she is experiencing a sense of pride by becoming a member of the Bharatiya Janata party. She said that she was motivated to join the party by seeing the leadership-vigor of popular Prime minister Narendrabhai Modi. Simultaneously, I have been impressed by the work culture of BJP national president Amit bhai Shah and finance minster Arun Jaitley. By getting motivated by these impressive people I have taken a pledge of service through the medium of the Bharatiya Janata Party. She said that she had been helping the common man through societal institutions but want to help the society through the medium of politics by being a diligence worker of this party. I am happy that today this day has come where I will be able to complete this pledge by becoming a member of the BJP.
