Bangalore, 23 January 2015: Audi, the German luxury car manufacturer, today announced the opening of its second world-class showroom in Bengaluru. This is the third Audi showroom in Karnataka. Based on a unique Central Business District concept, this showroom is the second of its kind in the country after Audi Delhi Central. The showroom was inaugurated by Indian Actress Gul Panag, Joe King, Head, Audi India and K. Subramaniam, CEO Audi Bengaluru Central. The entire Audi model range in India will be available at Audi Bengaluru Central showroom.

Spread over a total area of 7,800 sq. ft., Audi Bengaluru Central is located at No.1 Vittal Mallya Road, one of the most prominent locations in Bengaluru. Based on the global architecture concept with the typical honeycomb facade, the showroom has a display area of eight cars.

The showroom will also house the Audi Shop and Audi Exclusive elements where customers can customize their cars and purchase exclusive Audi merchandise.

Audi Bengaluru Central features a progressive lounge set-up with an informal seating, video walls and state-of-the-art interiors, lighting and technology. While the lounge set-up provides customers with a plush and relaxed environment, the display and information kiosk helps them discuss and choose the most suitable Audi. The showroom will display top of the line performance cars from Audi right from the R8 to the TT along with other Audi models. With its progressive bistro concept, the unique showroom will set a new benchmark among luxury car showrooms in Bengaluru. Adding to many firsts, is the unique quartz flooring designed to replicate a race track. The entire showroom is lit with state of the art LED lighting solutions, reinforcing Audi’s commitment to the environment.

Audi also unveiled the Audi A3 Cabriolet, the first open-top car in its segment at Audi Bengaluru Central. Skillfully blended with a unique body style and distinct design cues, the Audi A3 Cabriolet launched in Bengaluru today makes a perfect lifestyle statement. Sporty and dynamic with everyday practicality – this open top four-seater with its powerful engine, ensures an exhilarating driving experience with no compromise on fuel efficiency. First showcased at the Auto Expo 2014, the car received an overwhelming response from customers and fans alike.

Audi India closed the year on a record high. Heavy demand which far outstripped supply, Audi achieved new sales record by notching up an impressive sale of 10,851 units in 2014. This marks the seventh successive year of growth for the company which last year became the first luxury car manufacturer to achieve sales of 10,000 units in a calendar year as well as financial year in India.
